BETTIE
This litter is the Wall Canyon flagship breeding of versatility, impeccable good looks, health and stellar temperaments. Bettie is a special pick of the litter from Blondie's second litter, the Easter Treats. She really actually picked me because the whole litter was so amazing, I simply couldn't decide. The day she decided I was hers, I was toast. She brought me a water bottle that was still 3/4 filled with water and put it in my hand. When she got to hunting and looking for birds, I fell in love. She is a pheasant tracking beast and a vacuum cleaner of the marsh. I've never been prouder of a pup than when this pup pointed her first pheasant and then retrieved it to hand at 7 months old. As she grew, I knew she was special when all of a sudden I looked at her standing in the field on a natural conformation stack and knew she was one I needed to enter her into AKC Conformation shows. Boy Howdy, did she show off too..... She earned her CH in three weekends of showing and earned two Best of Breed honors!
She then went on to breeze through her Utility training and achieve not 1 but 2 Prize 1 scores qualifying her for the NAVHDA Invitational twice. Unfortunately in 2024, she bobbled in the field enough to lose out on her coveted VC but we are headed back to Iowa in 2025 and will try to get it done!

SHOCKEY
Shockey, Shockerson, Shocktop
Shockey is a product of a dream I had when I decided to begin breeding vizslas for the Versatile Hunting hunter. She is a daughter to DC Wall Canyon Alpine's BlackSmith and to my Ripley. I wanted to breed a son of Blondie's to Ripley and a son of Ripley to Blondie which I have been able to do each. Bettie is a dream come true but so is Shockey. Shockey has lived up to all of my expectations of her parents and grandparents and is growing into a talented and spirited bird dog. Shockey has a beautiful temperament, lively, sassy but driven and all business in the field. Sweet as can be in the home with particularly kids as well as with strangers. She has been in the conformation show ring on a limited basis and did well but her calling for the field encouraged me to bring her home. She has hit the fields in a big way becoming one of my A team for bird production. She has a beautiful forward run with an intense and stylish pointing style. She has been trained in retrieving and duck search and is getting ready for her Utility test this spring/summer. Her love of water is innate due to her mother and father and is a true product of a breeding program that desires temperament, trainability, natural talent, and great looks/health. Shockey brings forth all the great traits I love in her mother and her grandmother while adding tremendous good looks from her grandfather Cinder. I consider Shockey to be the full package of powerful yet sweet vizslas. Much to look forward to with Shockey and 2025 is her year to shine!
Shockey will be scheduled for her first litter in 2026 sometime.....

Ruby
Ruby is one of two females from Ripley's first litter. She is Wall Canyon's first homebred Versatile Champion and has lived up to every hope and dream I have had for a dog. Ruby is a "put the hammer down" kind of bird dog. She can tear up the prairie and the marsh all while producing game as if it is the easiest thing ever. She brings a sense of humor and fun to the home along with a serious dose of "let's go hunting".
This lil girl is a product of my beautiful Ripley and VC Martinsen's Mo River Reggie. She is a chip off of her momma's block and looks to be a terrific bird dog in the making. At only five months old, she was swimming, searching, pointing, tracking, and running big. Ruby is a typical vizsla that steals shoes and socks to tease us but gets down to business quickly when it's time to hunt. This pup has been an absolute rockstar in her first couple of hunting seasons. Pointing, retrieving, duck hunting in icy water, and running in her first field trials to boot! She placed 1st, and received three 2nd places at her FIRST trial ever!
Ruby hit a home run at the Midwest Tristate NAVHDA Test on Sept 28th. 2019 by scoring a PRIZE 1 in Utility! This lil beauties career has been so BRIGHT as she achieved her VC in 2021!!!
She is one helluva hunting dog.... filled with cooperation, desire, a sharp nose, and the ability to outsmart those running wild roosters. I’m so proud of this girl and her littermates. They have met my expectations and then some! And to say I adore Ruby is an understatement.
Ruby has had two litters and unfortunately I'm retiring her from breeding because she simply can't bring puppies up without abundant human intervention. Her first two litters are amazing and we look forward to seeing June and Doc from her first litter compete in Utility this year.
Billie Jean is from her litter with Hatch and is already proving to be a fireball with all of her mother's sweet temperament and hunting desire.

Blondie hit our household like a tidal wave! Her natural abilities shined bright during her first hunting season and then she sailed though her NAVHDA NA test with ease and received a Prize 1 112 Points. Blondie rocked the Utility test her first time out and received a Prize 1, 204 points. Blondie has a light and fast, snappy gait, a beautiful 11:00 tail set on point, and loves to go retrieve those ducks. She's got the mental toughness to recover from a bulldozing by a whitetail buck but the sweetness to charm even the most hard hearted. Blondie's pedigree is one of the reasons I selected her. Fieldway's Jack Daniels, Tommy Boy, and a few other notables helped sell me on her. Her brother, and father are awesome dogs as well. VC Firestorm's Pacific Duke preceded her and showed a lot of people the drive a vizsla can possess! DC Dry Creek's Tommy by Tommy gave me a hug on the tailgate after running an hour brace in the NVA Western Championship which is why I wanted Blondie the most. She has surpassed all of my wildest expectations with her talents and her abilities as a mom. She's produced two spectacular litters thus far and I'm looking forward to more in her future. Blondie's sweetness surpasses her hunting abilities. This dog has an OFF switch and a love for people like I've never seen. She's at home with kids, other dogs, and hasn't met anyone she didn't love. This dog fits the perfect description of the breed standards for looks, abilities, and temperament. I'm so lucky to have this girl!
Blondie is such a special dog and has now given me 2 Natural Ability Breeders Awards and 1 Utility Breeder's Award in NAVHDA and she's has the most qualified pups for the Invitational with 4 qualified in 2024! All received high Prize 1 scores.
I want to give Nancy Colwell and Warren Eizman an extra special thank you for letting me have this girl!!!

Ripley has fulfilled all of my expectations as a superstar female vizsla. She has true natural ability that she demonstrated at the tender young age of 10 weeks by pointing chukar and swimming like a labrador by the time she was 8 months old. Her natural retrieve has shined through since she was a pup but that desire translates into full blown horsepower on the water when ducks are dropped.Ripley has beauty, drive, strength, stamina, intelligence, and GRIT.
GRIT is her most amazing quality. It translates into tolerance to cold, willingness to keep hunting when birds aren't plentiful, and desire to please the owner even when it's hot or freezing. She is a force to be reckoned with and one to watch in the future. Her at home personality is what make her special though.... She's sweet and animated with her "talking" to her loved ones. She passes on her desire to hunt in the field and the water to all of her offspring. She possesses the ideal traits of a hardcore competition and hunting dog. We have retired Ripley from breeding as she has produced three beautiful and talented litters of puppies. She has contributed so much to the versatility and true hunting abilities of the vizsla.
I want to extend an extra special thank you to Josh McPherson and Bonita Austin for allowing me to have this girl. She's spectacular and I adore her.
